Improv Everywhere DVD

Friday, November 14th, 2008

Looking for the perfect stocking stuffer this holiday season? Well how about getting the brand new DVD from Improv Everywhere? This DVD includes a special featurette and commentary from the prank where I got lost all over Yankee Stadium. It also includes tons of other footage from several other missions, including Frozen Grand Central.

And while you’re watching, make sure you’re wearing your special lost “Rob!” t-shirt. Actually don’t do that. That’d be weird. No it wouldn’t. It’d be awesome. Wear it.

New Web Series from Margot Leitman

Wednesday, November 12th, 2008

Margot Leitman wrote and directed a new web series called “I Love Serial Killers.” The first episode revolves around Charles Manson. I’m in it very briefly as Nick Nolte. Everybody else in it is very funny - including: Neil Casey, Anthony Atamanuik, Margot Letiman, Livia Scott, James Santangeli, Dave Hill, Roger Hailes, Dominic Dierkes, John Gemberling, Matt McCarthy, Pat Baer, Eric Scott, Sarah Burns. Hurray!

BestWeekEver.tv’s Presidentail Campaign Tribute Video

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

Here is a very comprehensive video of the 2008 Presidential Election made by BestWeekEver.tv and Sara Schaefer. With 30 seconds to go, it even includes a very brief appearance of the dead-on Sarah Palin impression I did with Will Hines.

Takin’ It To the Streets

Thursday, November 6th, 2008

This past Tuesday, I voted like nobody’s business. You could even say I dry humped the vote. Of course it wasn’t always easy. At my polling station, the lever machine was broken. So I voted on a paper ballot. I cheated off the guy next to me. Luckily, he was voting for Obama too.

On Tuesday night I watched the election coverage in my apartment in my boxers. At 11 pm it was announced that Obama won. I heard cheering in my building, and saw crowds of people celebrating on TV. I wanted to be apart of the celebration. So I put on some shorts and shoes and ran out into the streets cheering loudly. Only nobody was there. I live on 59th street in Manhattan right across from the Queensboro bridge. Not a big party scene. The streets were completely empty. So I went back in my building and watched the rest of the coverage in my boxers. I’m a loser.

BUT I get a second chance to take it to the streets this Monday. (Nice segue, Latham.) For I will be co-hosting another installment of Street Meat with Heather Fink. And there’s no telling what topical bits we’ll bring to the table this time around. We’ve also got a solid lineup on board. Check it out.
