No we aren’t raging alcoholics. Well…at least Niki isn’t. The pics were taken this weekend. It was Niki’s birthday and a group of six of us (including Niki’s bro - Damian, Damian’s wife - Clare, and Niki’s two friends - Jill and Elizabeth) went to a Spanish tapas place in NoHo called Mercat. At the end of our meal a waitress passed around a jug full of wine (that’s oddly shaped like a glass bong) for everybody to chug. You can’t see it in the picture, but I ended up accidentally pouring the entire jug of wine all over my face. Nice, Lathan.
The title of the thread refers to how my Dad used to say, “Rabbit, Rabbit” at the beginning of every month. To this day I have no idea why. But since it is May 1st, I might as well keep the tradition alive. Nice, Lathan.

Aha! It all makes sense now! Well, maybe I should keep saying “Rabbit, Rabbit” on the 1st of every month for good luck. Maybe then I won’t keep pouring wine all over my face.
