SugaBabes Rule!
November 9th, 2005So I’ve been listening to nothing but SugaBabes lately. And I gotta say their music rulez! I mean, I can’t get them out of my head. Earlier today I had a presentation for a major client at work. After I was done with the PowerPoint slides, I dimmed the lighting a little and said, “You’ve seen all the numbers, but I think there’s ONE more way I can convince J&J to do business with us”. Then I pulled out my boom box and cranked up The SugaBabes classic, “Caught in a Moment”.
During the bridge I slowly started ripping off my suit to reveal that I was wearing nothing but spandex shorts with “SugaBabes” written across the buttocks area. After gyrating my ass in front of the J&J CEO, I launched back into the song full force. I might have missed on a few notes, but basically I was singing with the same gusto as all three SugaBabes (Keisha, Mutya and Heidi) in one. I was so caught up in the song, I barely noticed it when my boss, Janice, turned off the music and sternly asked me to leave the room.
Needless to say, we didn’t get the business. But I gotta say, it was a lot of fun. Luv those SugaBabes!

I don’t know, Rob. Despite your enthusiasm for the Sugababes, I still can’t get behind them.
And speaking of “behind,” I was on the official Sugababe website and my professional opinion is that both the brunette sugababe (Keisha?) and the black sugababe (Mutya?) could drop about 10 pounds.
But maybe I’m missing the point of “Ugly.”

The sugababes have been around 4 ages in Britain and are massive here and in the rest of Europe plus other parts of the world. I’ve seen the video for ‘Ugly’ and I thought it looked gr8 and i love that song 2.
They’re nothing like and so much more credible than the spice girls. They’ve played at places like glastonbury and are defo not just a cheesy pop band.
Mutya has left and been replaced by Amelle but they’re still the best and their new single ‘Red Dress’ is great.
Thank god it isn’t left 2 americans 2 decide what music the rest of the world listens 2 cos then the only choice we’d have would be anorexic, blonde, talentless popsters. You guys are not the centre of the world believe it so stop sticking your noses up at the rest of the world. Ignorant c**ts!!!
